Xi'an Day 1

We flew out of Beijing and took about a two hour flight to Xi'an. When we arrived in Xi'an we headed to the Terracotta Warrior Museum, which was about an hour from the airport.
One of the things we have really noticed are the different personalities of the various cities we have visited. Shanghai is "new and modern"...but also VERY polluted and very fast paced. Beijing is much more reserved, but at the same time very friendly. It is the seat of the government, so it makes sense that it would be more reserved.
Xi'an is what we would call "out in the sticks." I liked Xi'an the most so far....at least in regard to the people. They are very very simple people, but very curious about who we are. More on that in a moment.
For this post I am going to post the photograph and just explain what is happening with in or with the photograph. The first couple of pictures are the Terracotta Warriors, then some images from the Traditional Music and Dance from the Tang Dynasty (one of the Golden Ages of China), and then spending time on the streets of Xi'an, as the people were relaxing from a hard day of work...and singing, dancing, and laughing with each other in the city square outside our window. We joined them. What an experience.

Click the video to HEAR the singing in the park in Xi'an!

You can't really see much, but you can hear it. It was great!
